The collection features twelve baju kurung pieces which are vibrant in colours, elegant in appearance and exquisite in design reflecting his 20 year journey in the fashion industry. Rizalman’s famous design elements of silhouettes and trademarks, are now fused with a contemporary look in this limited edition collection for Tesco. 20 by Rizalman will be made available at 20 Tesco stores across Malaysia starting 9 July 2012.
“We are very excited to be working with Rizalman for our upcoming Raya apparel line up as his vast experience, dedication and meticulous hands-on approach provides that extra exclusive touch to his collection. This is also the perfect opportunity for him to reveal his latest inspirational designs in conjunction with his 20 years anniversary in the industry,” commented Hem Patel, Commercial Director of Apparel at Tesco Malaysia.
Tesco with this collaboration will provide exclusive collection that is accessible and affordable to customers and fashion enthusiasts around Malaysia with prices ranging from RM180 to RM250 per piece.
“After being in the industry for a good two decades, I would like bring myself closer to my fans and share with them my wonderful moments. Fashion enthusiasts and fans will notice elements of the short kebaya and the baju kurung Kedah in my 20 by Rizalman collection as we reminisce my journey in the industry. I have even maintained the quality in terms of colour, texture, lace, and striped design in this limited collection,” stated Rizalman.
When asked about the collaboration with Tesco, Rizalman said that, “besides having 45 stores in Malaysia, Tesco is well known in providing customers high quality products ranging from essential daily items to household and even clothing line. The mass reach of Tesco provides me with the perfect avenue to reach out to all my fans out there seeking high quality fashion at an affordable price during this Raya season.”
As an added bonus, Rizalman will also be making appearances at two Tesco stores to sign clothing hangtags for his loyal fans. He will be at Tesco Extra Shah Alam on 14 July 2012 from 4 to 6pm and at Tesco Mutiara Damansara on 15 July from 4 to 6pm.
The 20 by Rizalman will be available at Ampang, Mutiara Damansara, Kota Bahru, Paradigm, Seremban 2, Desa Tebrau, Tanjung Pinang, Melaka, Shah Alam, Station 18, Puchong, Taiping, Seri Alam, Kepong, Penang, Kajang, Setia Alam, SP Selatan, Mergong, and Nilai. Tesco will also be offering a great selection of baju kurung as low as RM29 in addition to a variety of ladies wear, menswear, children, and plus sizes that are attractive and appealing to all.
